A Bahamas Yacht Charter: Let Your Finest Dreams Come True Onboard the Motor Yacht Beyond
The Bahamas is one of the most popular destinations in the entire Caribbean region. The Bahamas consists of over 700 enchanting islands and over 2400 spectacular cays. From the lush parks and serene beaches to the amazing sights and sounds around the coastal towns, it could quite literally take you an entire lifetime to enjoy every part of this amazing region.
The Bahamas came to European attention in the early 18th century and played a pivotal role in the establishment of the Americas. Modern day Bahamas prides itself as the finest tourist hub in the region, featuring all the modern luxuries with the beauty of the Caribbean.
The weather here is warm and sunny most year-round, so there is very little that could dampen your vacation. When we decided to visit the Bahamas we opted for a Bahamas Yacht Charter and managed to charter the motor yacht Beyond, which certainly enhanced every aspect of our vacation.
If you want to get a taste of the local history first, then make sure one of your first stops include Bimini Island. This island features some interesting cafes, boutiques, galleries and museums. One particular museum, the Bimini Museum is dedicated to the local history and culture of the island. I would also recommend the shopping opportunities here. If you have a talent for haggling then you will certainly find some good deals.
Our next visit was to the Abaco Island. One of its most popular attractions includes the amazing Abaco National Park. This park covers over 20,500 acres and is dedicated to preserving the amazing range of local flora, fauna and wildlife. If you could organize an eco-tour then all the better. One other interesting site is the Hope Island Lighthouse, which remains spectacular to this day. It is always best to do a bit of research before visiting historically significant islands.
We then set sail to the Andros Island, which is home to the Andros Lighthouse. This lighthouse, like the Hope Town Lighthouse, date back to the late 19th century. There are plenty of other historical sites from yesteryear, which would be awesome if you are a history buff.
I for one kept imagining what life would have been in the region a few centuries back. Honestly, there is nothing better than reading a lovely local history book while lounging back on the deck of the Beyond, this is something you simply must try.
Our final stop was at the Bimini Island. Once we dropped ashore, I strolled through some of the galleries and museums on the island. The most important one is arguably the Bimini Museum, which features various exhibits dedicated to the local culture and heritage of the islanders.
Also, keep in mind that you can request the boat to come equipped with any extra gear for fishing, surfing, diving or other activities. However, try to make your requests as early as possible. There is no finer paradise than the Bahamas Islands and no finer way to enjoy this paradise than with a Bahamas yacht charter.
Bahamas yacht charter is currently available for Bahamas yacht charter with Fraser Yachts.
